IN THIS LESSON
Your creativity is a conduit to processing your trauma.
Being creative and doing something you enjoy can help you in several different ways.
We all have creative talents. Finding a way to express ourselves through creativity allows us to process our emotions, reclaim our voice, discover clarity, and assign meaning.
You don’t have to be an artist to be creative. Here are several examples in addition to painting and drawing that exude creativity.
Journaling
Poetry
Storywriting
Songwriting
Playing an instrument
Dancing
Yoga
Creating workout routines
Video creation and editing
Photography

Video diaries (vlogging)
Podcasting
Gardening
Pottery
Jewelry making
Language learning
Of course, I could keep going, but you get the idea. Creative expression happens without judgement. There’s no right or wrong with it.
